We didn’t quite get our fair share of the beach this summer, did we?  As a traveller at heart, my longing for a soft salty ocean breeze is stirring my imagination with the possibilities we have right here on England’s coastline.  Photogenic cliffs and beaches are always a welcome adventure, and with the weather cooling, there are a few close-to-home coastal destinations that make for an authentic autumn escape.

As you stroll past crumbling castles and unique wildlife, prepare to be mesmerized by moody fog, choppy waters, and breath-taking beaches — sights best enjoyed over a cuppa or with a pint.
